iPhone 7 Release Date, Specs and Features

As time passes by, the release of Apple's iPhone 7 gets closer, but nobody seems sure what the device is going to look like when it arrives. Apple Inc. is working on their new device as we are speaking, but we're still having a hard time figuring out what the killer feature of the smartphone is going to be, one analyst has given us a few clues about what will make up the core of the iPhone 7 specs.

Many are calling for an early release date for the smartphone, the precise moment when the iPhone 7 will be released has gotten even more blurry with each passing week.

It is still early to talk about the specs of the new iPhone 7, but mr. Ming Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, comes with some rumors about the matter at hand and he is known for the accuracy of his reports. Mr. Kuo blows off the rumor that Apple would switch to OLED this time around and says that Apple will keep using its LCD display technology.

He reckons the iPhone 7 will have 2GB of RAM while that on the iPhone 7 Plus will get a boost to 3GB, we're also going to see a much more powerful processor, that means much faster, more efficient processing, though stories that it's going to have six cores are likely overblown.

The size of the new phone will remain the same as the previous generation, 4.7 inch measure for the iPhone 7, and the 5.5 inch iPhone Plus. On top of those, however, the firm may seek to add a 4 inch smart phone, dubbed the iPhone 7C, for those on a tighter budget, also it is said that new device will be slimmer than that Apple has ever made, between 6 and 6.5 mm thick.

Waterproofing seems to be the latest big rumor on the cards, a recent Apple patent showed a system whereby the smartphone would be able to eject water it had taken on board.

An official release date of the device has not been revealed yet, but many people on Wall Street and beyond think it will be on the course of 2016. There's little to no evidence that Apple is actually planning to do that, but the only reason it seems more likely that the firm will stick to its cycle is because of Mr. Kuo's production estimates so and the fact that tradition, and buyer expectation, tends to count for something at Apple.
