A new report indicates that Samsung has already begun developing the firmware for the upcoming Galaxy Note 6.
We already know that the South Korean is going to release three flagship phones in 2017; two of them are going to arrive during the same timeline as Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, while the successor to the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 is going to arrive later in the year.
So, according a new rumor, Samsung will launch five flagship smartphones in 2017.
Samsung is now on a roll with the success of its recently introduced flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. As far as the report is concerned, both Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7 will feature an all-metal body with very slim profiles of between 6mm and 7mm. In addition to the name, the rumors are also saying that the phone will come with a 4K display that relies on a diamond PenTile subpixel arrangement.
Well, turns out that the company is working on a smartphone with a foldable display, but where the company's current generation high-end phones feature a 2K display, the handset with the foldable display has been rumored to feature a 4K resolution. In the previous year, rumours about Project Valley, a bendable Samsung smartphone had surfaced.
Back in September past year, information about a Samsung patent with the name Project Valley surfaced and offered some insight on how the foldable phone would look like. As Samsung has been typical of releasing two flagship smartphones per year, a new Samsung Galaxy S model in the first part of the year and a new Samsung Galaxy Note model in the second half.
The design and features of the new smartphones are enticing customers, especially those who were put off by the exclusion of the expandable storage option and removable battery on last year's models.
It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be coming in with a 5.8inch Quad HD Display screen.
Both devices are made of metal, and have a premium-like feel to them with a great price which render them fit for smartphone comparison.
