The rumors related to the removal of headphone jack first started when the iPhone 6S was launched last year. A patent filed by the Cupertino-based firm said that the headphone jack was preventing the company from making its phones thinner. The iPhone 6 was the thinnest iPhone at 6.9 mm thickness. Apple made the iPhone 6S thicker to render it stronger than its predecessor.

The report published in Japanese magazine said that a dual-camera module will be introduced this year to improve features like Live Photos. A dual-camera setup can be used to click pictures when shooting video while also allowing video shooting at different frame rates with two modules. The leak also revealed the rumored iPhone 7 Pro, about which not much information is available. However, the release of three phones this fall has been widely reported.
