Fully flexible smartphone could arrive in 2017 — Samsung Galaxy X

But unlike the GS7, the Galaxy Note 6 is tipped to rock Android N out of the box and said to be the main reason for its earlier release date, which according to Evan Blass is set August 15 following a possible July unveiling. So let's see what all we have got on the Galaxy S8 right now. The brand-new Samsung Galaxy X, on the other hand, is believed to be the "foldable smartphone".

The smartphone offers everything that the Galaxy S6 does but in a much larger package. The screen is really sharp, with a Quad-HD display. Yes, the designs are slightly improved, the specs are a bit better, but I don't think it's enough to get most people to open up their wallets again.

KitGuru Says: If Samsung were to release a flexible smartphone, would you consider buying one? Slimmer top and bottom bezels are expected to add into the modern concept. It will be known as the Samsung Galaxy X and the device will reportedly sport a 4K bendable display which will depend on a diamond PenTile subpixel arrangement. After making about 76 different Android devices (no, I haven't counted) Samsung seems to have struck the right balance of tweaking Android without cluttering up the experience. It is touted as a muscle vehicle courtesy of Snapdragon 823 that likely is paired with 6GB of RAM.

This new reward, in partnership with Oculus, the pioneering virtual reality firm that helps to power the Gear VR, comes as the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge continue to perform strongly across Europe. And for the battery part, we hope Samsung does not reduce the battery capacity if it is not going to increase it. Recently the company also launched the Galaxy A9 as the successor for the Galaxy A8, but it is still available only in China. This includes a USB, Type C port and resistance to water and dust with IP68 certification. The new port will provide faster charging and faster data transfer.

The Galaxy Note 5 is equipped with a 16-megapixel (F/1.9 lens) rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel (F/1.9) front-facing camera. The footage was taken in a variety of conditions, indoors, outdoors, and low-light, and also shows how the OIS compares.

Central to the plans of the Korean corporation in 2017 will be the release of the Galaxy S8, which remains the flagship of the consumer electronics giant.
