Microsoft fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the Surface Phone and it seems that there wait will not end soon as Microsoft is still to make any official announcement about the release of this device.
Some recent reports claim that this smartphone will not be released ever.
Analysts maintain that Intel's decision to halt the development of their line of Atom processors that may have affected the release of the Surface Phone.
Win Beta reported that the Atom processors were going to be the only ones available that could have sufficiently supported the rumored device, and with Intel decision to not manufacture the Atom processor anymore, the development of the Microsoft device is not going to take place soon.
But the report added that Microsoft still has some more options if they still want to make the rumored smartphone a reality.
Some experts maintain that the Redmond-based firm could develop the processors themselves.
