Police investigating a burglary in Margate, in which two mobile phones were stolen from a woman in her fifties, have released a computer-generated image of a teenager they would like to trace.

The woman was reportedly at home in Ramsgate Road between 7.30pm and 8pm on Sunday, June 19, when she walked into her conservatory to see two teenage boys standing there.

She called out to them and the two boys turned and ran out of the conservatory.

She later noticed that her two mobile phones, black IPhone 4S models, were missing.

The boys were last seen running across a field towards the Millmead area.

One boy was described as 13 or 14 years old, white, thin, 5ft 2in tall, with short, blond hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a pattern on it, black jogging bottoms and carrying a small black bag.

The second boy had a dark European complexion, aged 13 or 14 years old, with a medium build and around 5ft 2in tall.

He had short, black curly hair and was also wearing a black t-shirt and black jogging bottoms.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or who recognises the boy in the image, should contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting ZY/20372/16.

Alternatively, contact Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
