Sony is set to return to the Korean market with its first smartphone in nearly two years.
The Japanese company said Wednesday that it will start taking pre-orders for its Xperia X Performance on Friday.
It released the Xperia Z3 in October 2014 in Korea.
The Xperia X Performance is at the top of the premium Xperia X line, which Sony unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain in February.
Other models in the series include the Xperia X and XA.
