To fend off iPhone Competition, Samsung to release phablet in August

The Galaxy J2 (2016) has no official release date for now though it is believed that it will come out before the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in August.

Samsung might be starting the production of their Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge next month plus a new leak claims that it will feature the new innovative Smart Glow capability.

As anticipation builds around the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the rumors about the smartphone have been reaching fever pitch.

Lowry on top at US OpenWith his undeniable talent and newfound touch on the putting greens, I don't think anyone is counting out the Aussie anymore. It wasn't so enjoyable earlier in the day when he was lining up a 30-foot birdie putt and nudged the ball with his putter.

The specs and features have been set on the table, including that previous post which sees the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 carrying close similarities (with reference to the curved edge screen display) to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

But now we're hearing yet more evidence of it, as the Korea Herald reports that Patron (a South Korean camera module-maker) will be supplying modules for Samsung's "next premium smartphone", having apparently won a bid to do so months ago.

The feature could be a useful addition to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 but right now there is no confirmation that the "Smart Glow" LED feature will be included.

Samsung may try to top the Galaxy Note 5 (shown here) by adopting a dual-edge display for the next Galaxy Note.

A new series of leaked images passed along by Dutch tech blog "Galaxy Club" is making the rounds, indicating that Samsung is working on a new LED-based notification system for upcoming smartphones. Like the Galaxy Tab E, the Galaxy On5 supports T-Mobile LTE bands 2, 4, and 12.

Neurogadget noted that a "new vibration pattern concept" and an advanced power mode are incorporated along with new Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phablet will also consist of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 823 processor, Adreno 530 GPU, and 6 GB of RAM. This was due to the fact that iris scanning technology was still in its infancy at that stage and was not as simple as user-friendly as a fingerprint scanner.

It is hinted by the teaser, with the help of Phone Arena, that there is no doubt that Samsung is skipping a numeral, and the name that they have planned for their next pallet is Galaxy Note 7.
