HTC 11 Leak Shows Snapdragon 835 Processor

HTC 11 is among the most awaited smartphones of the year. Before the company releases this smartphone, they announced the arrival of the HTC U Play and U Ultra smartphones earlier this year. While many expected the gen-next HTC flagship to release in the summer, or even in fall, the phone might release earlier than we expected it. Based on Weibo leaks, the HTC 11 looks impressive –

Leaked image on Weibo showcase screenshot of the about screen of the upcoming phone. It is seen running the latest version of the HTC Sense, HTC Sense 9.0 running on top of Android Nougat 7.1.2 OS. The phone runs the latest version of Android that has just started rolling out. The phone also runs 6GB of RAM and most interestingly, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.

In the past, we reported that it is due to Samsung taking a major chunk of the Snapdragon 835 processors to themselves that other smartphone manufacturers might face problems releasing their devices in time. The LG G6 had been worst hit by it. It looks like the HTC 11 too, would release along the same time as the LG G6 due to the same problem. Samsung is flexing their muscles here and delaying the release of the competition.

In addition to the aforementioned specs, the HTC 11 features a resolution of 1556×2560 – this indicates a resolution greater than QHD, which would be quite interesting. As of this moment there are no other details that are available on this upcoming HTC flagship. It is expected that the phone would once again feature the innovative design that HTC typically offers every year.

The phone was among our top 10 most awaited smartphones of 2017, and it is still a major suspense! We expect more leaks to follow over the months as we draw closer to the release date of the HTC 11 smartphone. Stay tuned!
