By employing Miitomo as one of the main modes to garner points for downloadable games and add-ons that are presently accessible on their Japanese program site, Nintendo has enticed users to download the new mobile game as soon as it was rolled out.

Merely 3 days since it's release, Nintendo's Miitomo app has been confirmed as reaching over 1 million users in Japan. Mii is your own avatar that you can dress up, personalize, and play with.

So far, President Tatsumi Kimishima has been coy, saying only that Nintendo's next smartphone game will feature one of the company's beloved characters. It combines social elements with mini-games and character customization, which is where the in-app purchases come in.

These "Miis" then walk around a "room" asking users personal questions, such as personal likes, preferences and recent activities.

Miitomo is the latest game from the once undisputed video game manufacturer, Nintendo. Your Mii can talk and speak to you. It's a social app that brings you and your friends closer than ever.

Miitomo has been described as Nintendo's idea of Facebook, with heavy influence taken from Tomodachi Life - a simulation game released for 3DS in 2014.

Furthermore, when it comes to the circulation of this application in other countries, Nintendo says the app will launch in the USA and other regions around the world by the end of March. Miitomo users can also set up a Nintendo Account that connects them across multiple devices like their PC and smartphone.

Nintendo announced the Miitomo as its first-ever official mobile game a year ago. Are you hooked yet?
