Batman is certainly one of the most popular superheroes in the whole comic book universe. The billionaire Bruce Wayne's alter ego has always been a big hit thank to his awesome crime fighting gadgets and it appears that he needs to add one more to his collection. According to a recent report, South Korean electronics giant Samsung has just announced that it will be releasing a special Batman Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone very soon.
Engadget reports that the special Batman-themed Galaxy S7 Edge is being released to commemorate the third anniversary of the popular mobile game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The special edition smartphone mixes black and gold accents and of course dons the Batman logo on its back panel.
According to a report from IGN, the special Batman Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone will come pre-installed with Batman and Injustice wallpapers as well as a Batman-themed hardcase. It is also expected to be bundled with the Samsung Gear VR headset as well as an actual gold Batarang which is certainly super cool.
The special edition Galaxy S7 Edge is not the first time that Samsung is doing special releases for a superhero. Last year, the South Korean company likewise launched a special edition Iron Man Galaxy S6 Edge phone to celebrate the release of the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.
There has been no concrete release date yet for the Galaxy S7 Edge Batphone but the same Engadget report cites that it could start to become available next month in certain territories. The first countries to get the special edition smartphone are China, Korea, Singapore, Russia and Latin America with other locations to be announced soon.
