OPPO F1s announced as successor to the ‘selfie expert’

Remember the OPPO F1, the "selfie expert" smartphone from the beginning of the year? Whether it delivers what OPPO promises is up to you, go check out our review and quick look at what its camera can do. Almost six month after the F1, the OPPO F1s announced today by the manufacturer is expected to take it to the next level, being built "on the strengths" of its predecessor (which managed to generate a record growth for the company in the first quarter).

The company is positioning the upcoming OPPO F1s as one of the core products in its line-up for the second half of the year. Little is unveiled in the official press release about the phone, but OPPO promises that it will "carry on the F1's legacy of superb photography, sleek design and snappy performance, while adding new features and taking others to new heights".

No pricing and exact availability are available at the moment for the OPPO F1s, but we should expect it sometime in August.

Whether the OPPO F1s will include the cool tech we've seen demoed by the company at MWC (the new, SmartSensor stabilized image sensor, and Super VOOC fast charging) is yet unknown.
