Singtel releases iPhone 7 prices

    SINGAPORE: Local telco Singtel on Saturday (Sep 10) released its prices for Apple's latest smartphones.

    According to its website, the 32GB iPhone 7 will cost S$698 under its Combo 1 plan, which charges subscribers S$27.90 per month. On the other end of the scale, the 256GB iPhone 7 will cost S$1,008 under the same subscription plan.

    For the iPhone 7 Plus, the 32GB model will cost S$878 under the Combo 1 plan, while the 256GB model will set subscribers back by S$1,188 under the same plan.

    Singtel is the first local telco to release iPhone prices with carrier subsidy, while M1 and StarHub have yet to announce pricing. All three telcos said on Thursday they would offer the phones from Sep 16 onwards.

    Customers can pre-register their interest on the telcos' websites, although pre-registration for StarHub has closed.
