Samsung's new flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone will have the biggest screen in the series to date. It is slated for release in April.
IT media on Monday speculated based on strategically leaked pictures of the phone that the screens of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be 5.7 and 6.2 inches.
Boffins expect the screen to be curved at all four edges and come without a home button at the bottom.
SamMobile predicted that the front camera will be vastly improved for selfies. The phone is also expected to have iris recognition.
Samsung was supposed to unveil the new phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Feb. 27 but had to delay the release amid uncertainties following the debacle with the combustible Galaxy Note 7.
"The products will be launched in March or April," a company spokesman said. "We can't confirm details of the specifications."
