LG G6 To Release On 10th March, Samsung Galaxy S8 On 21st April

LG and Samsung are two of the biggest names when it comes to the world of consumer electronics. The companies are both international giants which share their origin in South Korea. Both these giants are all set to launch their gen-next smartphones, the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8. Reports have now surfaced via ETNews, a Korean news portal, which states that the LG G6 will release on the 10th of March, while the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will go on sale from the 21st of April.

The latest LG flagship smartphone is being teased by the company for weeks, and is going to make its debut at the Mobile World Congress 2017, on the 26th of February. LG is all set to have the G6 go on sale a few days later, on the 10th of March, if the reports are to be believed. Pre-orders will begin from the 2nd of March. This is the first time in their history that an LG flagship releases before a Samsung flagship.

The LG G6 is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 OS and has been heavily rumored to release with the Google Assistant. The phone features a 'full-vision' display, and dual cameras. Stay tuned for more updates on the G6 later this week.

Samsung Galaxy S8

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has had quite an air of uncertainty around it till now. With these reports, things look clearer. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to go on sale on the 21st of April, while pre-orders are likely to begin from the 13th of April. The launch is expected to happen sometime in March, though no dates on the launch are confirmed as of now.

Samsung's gen-next flagship is likely to release with an edge-to-edge display, 4GB of RAM, and will be running on the Snapdragon 835 processor. The device is also expected to feature 5.8 and 6.2 inched variants, and a DeX Operating System.
